STARTING OUT! (Excellent for Graduates!)
Bill Gates offers these insight to anybody starting out.
1. Life isn't fair-get used to it.
2. The world doesn't care about your self-esteem; it expects you to accomplish something before feeling good about yourself.
3. You won't make $60K a year right out of school, or be a vice-president with a car phone. YOU HAVE TO EARN IT!
4. Think your teacher is tough? Wait till you have a boss-he's not tenured!
5. Flipping burgers isn't beneath you; your grandparents called it opportunity!
6. Your parents weren't always boring; it came from feeding you, cleaning your clothes and paying your bills. So before you save the rain forest from the 'parasites' of your parents generation, try delousing your own closet!
7. Some schools may have abolished winners and losers, but life hasn't! They may have eradicated 'failing grades' and given you as long as you want to get the right answer. This bears no resemblance to reality!
8. Life isn't divided into semesters; you don't get summers off. Employers aren't interested in helping you find yourself; you do that on your own time.
9. Unlike television, REAL people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to work!
10. Be nice to nerds-chances are you'll end up working for one!"
Mentors are wonderful.
Wisdom from the Word-"Trust God...Don't try to figure out everything on your own." Proverbs 3:5
Father, take us to a new level of development, in Jesus name, amen. |

CONGRADULATIONS GRADUATES!!
May/June is a transition time. Students graduate from school, programs that have taxed their body, soul and spirit, stretched their mind, will, and emotions, yet celebrate as they receive recognition and diplomas. Also looking ahead at the next stage of planning. Something about once we reach one level of growth it is important to continue on to the next.
Whether you are putting on a cap and gown, or have received a new level of certification "Congradulations," enjoy the moment.
1. Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss it you will land among the stars. "Aim for perfection"... (2 Corinthians 13:11) 2. Success is knowing the difference between cornering people and getting them in your corner. "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?" (Amos 3:3). Many receive advice, only the wise profit by it. "Pride only breeds quarrels, but wisdom is found in those who take advice." (Proverbs 13:10)
Wisdom from the Word - "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
Father, thank you for the persistance of those who are graduating. Help each one understand Your path for them. Provide all the finances, wisdom, and opportunities for each person to grow first in YOU, then in the their career goals, in Jesus name, amen. |

PEOPLE WENT OUT TO SEE HIM!
John the Baptist prepares the way of the Lord. (Matthew 3:5) Our end-time opportunities to minister wholeness, salvation, resemble the ministry of Jesus' cousin John (the son of Zechariah, a priest, and his wife Elizabeth) The preparation was both spiritual and moral. Often I have heard today is the day of salvation. Part of our battle is in the way we "think."
In a vision I saw a box of off white candles (8-10 inches tall). I saw the candles being lit and handed to people so they were the light of the world, carrying the gospel to others who in turn lit the candles and handed them to others. Many were being saved, delivered, healed, and moving forward with the message of Jesus Christ. In this time God is releasing an anointing that will enable all who will- to go forth. I see an umbrella as a covering of protection. The latter rain has arrived.
Wisdom from the Word-And God spoke all these words...You shall have no other gods before me." -the 1st of the 10 Commandments-Exodus 20:3 |

Wisdom from the Word-"The reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight and understanding.' Proverbs 9:10
God is our Shepherd, Provider, Peacemaker, Healer, Righteousness, Warrior, Rewarder, Always Present, Savior, and Lord of Hosts.
